PostHeaderIcon A Spoonful Of Advice: Finding More Comment-Worthy Blogs

By Terez Howard

I know our month of blog commenting is coming to a close.  But as we round things up, I stumbled upon a way to find blogs worth commenting on.  You might already know this and utilize this method.  It’s not earth-shattering.  However, I found it to be a wonderful way to help me spot some great bloggers.

I clicked on blogs in my favorite bloggers’ Blogroll and voila.  Instant access to some awesome blogs.  I don’t know if I’ve ever paid attention to the Blogroll before.

Anyways, there you have it!  Your favorite bloggers can help you find more favorite bloggers.

You’ve hit on a similar way I go about looking for new blogs. I often visit some of the more popular freelancing sites that usually get a ton of comments, and will scroll through the comments, opening commenter links one after the other in new tabs. I then do a quick scan to see which ones interest me and follow them up as time permits.

That’s an awesome tip, Paul. Thanks for sharing. It’s likely that the people who read the blogs you like to read will also write interesting blogs.
