PostHeaderIcon Frosted Good Stuff: Week Two Of Blog Commenting

By Jael Strong

We are nothing if not consistent!  This week, Terez and I commented a total of seventeen times on thirteen different blogs.

Terez relates that at least one of the bloggers thanked her for joining the discussion.  Terez says that receiving this type of feedback makes her want to go back and comment again!

For me, I definitely feel a greater connection to the writing community as a whole.  Being able to engage in meaningful dialogue with like-minded individuals is very gratifying.

Overall, the challenge is going well.  Blog commenting is not as simple and direct as one might think if you want to do it well.  But, finding your place in the online writing world is well worth the effort.

    Commenting is so important!!!

In fact, if it weren’t for your recent comment on my blog, I might not be here, looking at your work!

Commenting is where the dialogue really begins. Some comments are so thought-provoking they actually give me new ideas for future posts.

As bloggers, we all know how it is…we work hard to write something compelling and it feels good to know someone out there is reading and appreciating it. We should all make an effort to show our fellow bloggers that their work is not going unnoticed.

    Good on you!

You are absolutely correct. This is our way of supporting one another as a writing community. So, thank you for your support!
