Guest blogging has become an exciting adventure. As Terez pointed out last week though, we can’t expect payment. So, what do we do when we are asked to write regularly for free?
This topic has been addressed previously on this blog, but it doesn’t hurt to reiterate a point or two. The most important things to consider are whether regularly blogging for others for free will pay back in exposure and whether you have the time as a writer to commit to writing for others regularly.
First, putting posts on others web sites will be beneficial since it gets you writing and it does increase your exposure. Second, we are not superhuman. Since we have limits, we have to know what they are. The bottom line? Don’t commit to doing more than you possibly can.
